Most of these famous actors, musicians, and athletes have licenses for their weapons, but a few have been arrested for illegally possessing firearms.
Who is the most famous person who owns a gun? Angelina Jolie tops our list. The Mr. and Mrs. Smith actress told Live magazine, “If anybody comes into my home and tries to hurt my kids, I've no problem shooting them.” Her partner Brad Pitt agrees that owning a gun is good for the family. He says, “America is a country founded on guns. It’s in our DNA. It’s very strange, but I feel better having a gun. I really do.”
Several musicians also own guns, both legally and illegally. "Gin and Juice" rapper Snoop Dogg was arrested for gun possession back in 2006. Rapper T.I. was arrested on gun charges in 2007 and served prison time for the offense. "Layla" singer Eric Clapton owns a vintage gun collection.
