The funniest Howard Stern Wack Packers include several guests on Stern's radio show (and his Howard TV show), some of them dating back decades. What is a Wack Packer? Put simply, a Wack Pack member is someone who doesn't really seem to grasp the idea that they're funny. They're strange, often offensive, usually hilarious and sometimes flat-out shocking. Who was the first Howard Stern Wack Packer? That would be Irene the Leather Weather Lady. She began appearing on 'The Howard Stern Show' in 1980, during the WWWW Detroit days, delivering her weather reports with a bit of S&M. That period also saw the introduction of Fred the Elephant Boy. At the time, these characters weren't actually called "Wack Packers" - that name wasn't bestowed on these bizarre guests until 1990. Some of the original Wack Pack members, including Leather Weather Lady, were featured in the 1997 film 'Private Parts.'
Over the years, Howard Stern's Wack Pack has grown to include such infamous Wack Packers as Crazy Alice, Eric the Midget, Gary the Retard, Eric the Midget, Vinnie D'Amico, Miss Howard Stern (Andrea Ownbey) and Crackhead Bob. Sadly, the man that Howard Stern dubbed the "original" Bigfoot (aka Matthew McGrory), a 7 ft 6 inch actor, passed away in 2005. In 2006, Mark Shaw Jr., aka Bigfoot, won a contest to be come a new Howard Stern Wack Pack member.
This list includes many Stern Wack Packers who are now deceased, including the original Bigfoot, but also Cliff Palate, Hank the Angry Drunken Dwarf, Blue Iris, Kenneth Keith Kallenbach and yes, sadly, Irene the Leather Weather Lady (aka Irene De Cook).
